Subscription Services

Personal information provided by you as part of your subscription registration process is used by us to service and fulfil your account.

Payment Details

Any information provided by you in connection with any transaction regarding your credit or debit card numbers, expiry date and billing or delivery address will be used by us to process the transaction.These details will be stored on a secure server and may be used by us to facilitate and personalise future transactions with you. (NB, credit and debit card details are not stored for purchases made via our online catalogue and bookshop.)

Contact Details

We may use the contact details provided by you (such as your name, job title, telephone and fax number and your e-mail and postal addresses) to keep you informed about relevant new books and information services that we think will be of interest to you, either by post, phone or e-mail.

Third Parties

We do not sell, trade or rent your e-mail contact address to any third parties.

We may on occasion, pass on your postal details to trustworthy third parties to provide you with information about their services and products.

Cybersource and Natwest Streamline are third party associates who provide a secure payment facility for our online bookshop, They authenticate credit and debit cards and collect money on our behalf.

Voluntary Information

We may ask you for further information such as your areas of professional interest and the size of your company. This information will be held and used by us to further improve the way we keep you informed of relevant new books and information services, and to target your needs more effectively.

Cookies

Our online Catalogue and Bookshop uses cookies - small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do enable us to store your delivery details and items in your Shopping Basket between visits so that you don’t have to re-enter this information every time you return to the site. If you choose you can usually change your web browser to disable storage of cookies, in which case you will still be able to use our online bookshop.
