Want to blog for Taxation? Here's the handy little guide we send to potential contributors

All content should be sent to our online editor, Daniel Selwood.

We’ll happily accept any entry for consideration, as long as its content has some connection to tax (no matter how tenuous) and isn’t libellous, bigoted (racist/homophobic/misogynistic/etc), advertorial, or excessively technical.

But your item can posit an extreme, angry or controversial view. Or it can be purely comical. It can also be a report of an event or light-hearted/weird news. Maybe you want to share some love or offer a warning

Pick whatever tone you like. And whatever name: we’ll include your real moniker (and tag a short, one-line bio to the foot), or you can choose a pseudonym.

Length-wise, ideal copy is 350-500 words, but we’ll entertain longer and shorter work.

You don’t have to be a great writer (we’ll sub-edit your piece without removing your voice) as long as your point is interesting, trenchant or witty.

Feel free to send what you’ve written – as long as it suits the above criteria and hasn’t been published elsewhere – or run ideas past Daniel first, if you like.

We look forward to publishing your stuff.
