Carefree Hands

Multi-millionaire Guy Hands, chairman of the private equity firm Terra Firma Capital Partners, proved long ago to be as charming as he is handsome.

He decamped from the UK last year - having done such a sterling job at the EMI music label - in protest at having to pay taxes.

This weekend he again affirmed his winning personality by revealing the sympathetic methods he employs to avoid handing over cash to HMRC.
