Lovers of plastic surgery were enraged by a government proposal to slap a levy on elective cosmetic procedures, including breast implants and botox.

The 5% 'botax', which could generate $6 billion over ten years, was mooted by senate majority leader Harry Reid to help fund a $848 billion healthcare bill.

Some groups are so furious about the measure that you can almost see the anger on their paralysed faces.
