Come with us now to visit our rival website, AccountingWeb.com, which has introduced a run-down of its blogging 'crew' and assurances of what each writer adds to the online community.
Inspired by this, we at Taxation decided to make a similar offering. So here we present biogs of our editorial team:
Mike Truman, editor
Mike won the CIOT fellowship thesis prize in 1996 for his work on the law and practice of residence. He owns a small collection of Whitefriars coffin design glass vases.
Daniel Selwood, online editor
Daniel has been a journalist for 15 years and has written on a diverse range of subjects, from finance and music to dating and funerals. He is mildly allergic to red apples.
Allison Plager, deputy editor
Allison began her working life with the Inland Revenue (as was) before moving to Ernst & Whinney, Saffrey Champness, and then Taxation. Her favourite colour is pink.
Richard Curtis, deputy editor
Richard started his career at the Revenue before moving to private practice as tax manager for a firm of chartered accountants, and then on to LexisNexis, home of Taxation. He enjoys mysteries.
