Someone out there is having a go at accountants.
(What else is new?)
There's an email doing the rounds called 'If accountants were allowed to pitch song ideas'.

Rather funny it is, too - even though professional bean counters seem to have been arbitrarily picked out for ridicule.
The gag could apply to any trade regarded by the general populous as pompous and/or needlessly bureaucratic: management consultant, advertising executive, health and safety manager, lion tamer... no, not lion tamer.
Alas, it's the humble book keeper who's getting stick.
