New on the Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) website is a test of whether the recently relaunched Contact Us section of HMRC's site really does make it easier for taxpayers to get in touch with the Revenue.
The laudable group follows online instructions while posing as a range of potential 'customers', one of whom is sight-impaired.
The initial finding: 'At first glance, there is nothing in the main menus to help someone with special needs (unless you are Welsh)'.
Eh?!
The LITRG might want to consider hiring a good proofreader while it awaits very angry letters from the Welsh Select Committee, the Wales Tourist Board, the Welsh Civil Rights Movement...

*Welsh for blunder.
