Small company review of taxation survey.
As part of its review of small company taxation, the Office of Tax Simplification (OTS) has prepared a survey.
It is inviting micro businesses – those with fewer than ten employees – to complete this by 1 January 2016. This should take no longer than 15 minutes, and the results will be anonymous.
The findings will be used to develop recommendations for the Treasury on simplifying the system, increasing certainty and reducing administrative burdens.
The project will report to the chancellor before the 2016 budget and will build on the OTS’s earlier work on simplifying the system for unincorporated businesses.
