Is the tax system fair? This was the subject of a fringe debate at the Labour party conference in Brighton.

The perennial question “Is the tax system fair?” came under the spotlight at a debate organised jointly by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) at this year’s Labour party conference.
