HMRC has revised its guidance What Happens if You Don’t Report Payroll Information on Time. The sections ‘if you get a penalty’ and ‘estimating what you owe’ have been updated to include information for employers about late and non-filing PAYE penalties specified charges inaccurate reports and how to avoid penalties in future.

 

HMRC webinars

HMRC is presenting a talking points meeting ‘Call handling on the agents dedicated line (ADL)’ on 23 June at midday and 3pm. It will give an overview of the purpose of the ADL the service it provides to agents and how this is changing as HMRC becomes more digital. The meeting lasts one hour. For details see here.
