HMRC launches new service to help mid-sized businesses grow.

A new service to help mid-sized businesses as they expand and grow has been launched by HMRC.

Intended to help growing entities with a turnover above £10m or more than 20 employees the growth support service will:

  • help with tax queries about their growing business;
  • supply accurate information and co-ordinate technical expertise from across HMRC; and
  • support them to get their tax right first time and access relevant incentives or reliefs.

Eligible businesses should apply online at here. A dedicated growth support specialist at HMRC will then contact them to discuss their requirements. The bespoke service will generally last between three and six months.
