The Revenue received 1,011,183 tax returns electronically in the period 6 April 2004 to 7 January 2005, Dawn Primarolo said in response to a written question. 787,978 were filed using the Internet service, while 223,205 were filed using the electronic lodgement service. Feedback about the Internet service suggests that 91% of taxpayers are satisfied with the service, and 96% expect to file online again.
