STEP awards
The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners has launched the first ever STEP Private Client Awards. The awards will highlight excellence among private client lawyers, accountants, barristers, bankers and trust managers. Nominations will open on 3 April 2006 and be judged by an independent panel of expert professionals.
The awards will be announced and presented to the 2006 winners at a ceremony and dinner on 26 September 2006 at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London.

The awards categories are: solicitor or attorney of the year, accountant of the year, barrister of the year, tax adviser of the year, banker of the year, corporate trustee of the year, investment manager of the year, international finance centre lawyer and accountant of the year, book of the year, best Government initiative of the year, worst Government initiative of the year.
