Payments delayed by postal dispute will be viewed sympathetically

Postal dispute

VAT returns and payments that are delayed by the postal dispute will be viewed sympathetically, say HMRC. They confirm that there will be no liability to surcharge where the postal strike has caused a delay. Postal workers held a 24-hour strike on 29 June.
