There has been some confusion relating to the three 'snipurl.com' addresses in Matthew Hutton's article 'Past, present and future' (2 August 2007).
We have had several enquiries relating to the three 'snipurl.com' website addresses in the opening paragraphs of Matthew Hutton's article 'Past, present and future' (Taxation, 2 August 2007, page 139). Unfortunately, we did not appreciate at the time that a figure 'one' and a lower-case letter 'l' would appear the same in the text of the magazine. The first character after 'snipurl.com/' is therefore a figure 'one' and not a letter 'l'. We have made a note to ensure that this is not repeated in future 'snipped' URLs.
