MIKE TRUMAN chair of the 2007 judging panel reports - and offers the chance to download an entry form for this year's ceremony

I have now been on the judging panel for these awards three times in total and chaired the panel in 2007. I will also be chairing the panel in 2008.

I thought it might be helpful for prospective entrants into the 2008 awards to see a report of the judging process for 2007.

I am necessarily limited in what I can say because all the judges take their duty of confidentiality very seriously but there are some important issues which I wanted to share with you.

Outline of the process

It might help first to briefly outline the judging process. As chair of the panel I invite the other judges to take part.
