Tax and Cornwall: the perfect mix? Peter Penneycard certainly thinks so and explains why to ALLISON PLAGER.

Why move to Cornwall? There must be any number of reasons: the climate cream teas Cornish pasties palm trees surf and even longevity.

A report recently showed that residents of the west country enjoy longer lives than those elsewhere in the UK so clearly that is the place to be in order to live a long life.

Many people dream of living in a more peaceful environment than the south-east but few manage to realise that dream. One of those who has is Peter Penneycard.

He moved lock stop and barrel to Cornwall earlier this year. He says he is simply returning to his roots but I think there is probably more to it than that.
