The Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) is returning to Second Life, the internet-based 3D world.
In October 2007, the institute became the first tax body to give a lecture in virtual realm, discussing the tax implications of doing business in such a place.
The subject will once again be covered on 30 September, and the Tax Anderton avatar will once again represent the CIOT and will take questions from an invited audience.
Last year, a lot of ground was covered, but Anderton didn't have time to deal with all the queries about what is or isn't taxable when trading in a virtual world or when a virtual currency is exchanged for a real one, explained the institute.
CIOT council member Chris Jones said: 'As part of our commitment to helping people understand tax we are delighted to be dealing with this very important issue.
'The CIOT undertakes a range of educational projects, and this is part of that programme.'
He added: 'There are many small businesses operating within Second Life, and it is important that they understand what the issues are with regard to their taxation'.
