MT: Can we just go back and consider the whole process we have been through in the past year from the Pre-Budget Report (PBR) through to the Finance Act. What has it been like dealing with tax in that period?

PR: Ever since the PBR came out there has been so much uncertainty on non-doms that it has been difficult to advise clients. Most advisers said wait until the Finance Act because it was all so fluid.
