CIOT London Branch Christmas Quiz - cartoon
As usual, a cartoon was provided for the CIOT London Branch Christmas Quiz on 12 December, and the teams were invited to suggest an appropriate caption.
This year, the cartoon depicted Gordon Brown being given a piggy back by Alistair Darling.
The winner, a big four team, provided the following caption: Darling: ‘This isn’t what I thought you had in mind by “fiscal stimulus”’.
The quiz was hosted by Somerset House and sponsored by Creative Tax Recruitment.
The quiz was set by Keith Gordon, and the guest quizmaster was Dave Hartnett.
The Tax Law Rewrite team was the winner.
