The Ministry of Justice has appointed Kevin Sadler as chief executive of the Tribunals Service. He took up the post on 5 January 2009.
Mr Sadler spent his early career in operational and policy posts in the Department of Social Security together with a spell in Cabinet Office.
After setting up the Pensions Service in the Department for Work and Pensions he moved to the Department for Constitutional Affairs to create HM Courts Service - merging 43 organisations into one.
He created the Tribunals Service in 2006. As Department for Constitutional Affairs change director, he oversaw change across DCA. He ran the project to create the Ministry of Justice.
