'The TCO’s stance is a breach of human rights'

I am responding to the Tax credit claim errors article.

I have been in correspondence with the TCO for many months seeking an amendment to a final award which would benefit the taxpayer and to date they have refused to amend an award or even acknowledge that they have the power to do so and that they refuse to apply their discretion in this area.

Through frustration with the inequality of the system as regards the taxpayer and the TCO’s responses I have now referred the case to the Adjudicator’s Office and I have also taken the matter up with our local MP.

I believe the TCO’s stance is inequitable and is a breach of human rights. They also refuse to comment on the latter despite asking me which human rights have been breached and being supplied with some examples.
