Employers urged to download ASAP
Employers who use HMRC’s employer CD-ROM to help run their payroll systems should install the September update as soon as possible, to ensure it has the most up-to-date guidance and calculators.
The Revenue will be replacing the CD-ROM with a downloadable application, called Basic PAYE Tools’, in February next year.
Downloading the September update will ensure that employers can take full advantage of the forthcoming new product.
