Multiple dwellings
Draft guidance regarding stamp duty land tax relief for transactions which include the acquisition of interests in more than one dwelling has been published by HMRC. This measure was announced in the 2011 Budget and will apply to transactions where the effective date is on or after the date of Royal Assent to the Bill.

Agent account managers (AAMs) in HMRC are telephoning tax advisers to explain what services they provide and the benefits for agents and their clients. Agents can register for AAM services during the call.
