Online portal accepting company accounts
It is understood HMRC’s online portal can now accept the submission of company accounts and returns with a year end after 31 March 2011.
Submission had been delayed as a result of the need to update HMRC’s software, following the reduction of the corporation tax rates for 2011.
The main corporation tax rate is 26% (28% for 2010), and the small profits rate is 20% (was 21%).
