New penalties factsheet
A new factsheet, ‘Compliance checks – higher penalties for income tax and capital gains tax involving offshore matters’ (CC/FS17), provides detailed information about the higher penalties HMRC may charge for income tax and capital gains tax when an offshore matter is involved.
A maximum of 200% of the tax due may be imposed.
