Fixes and improvements
The latest version of HMRC’s basic PAYE tools to help employers run their payroll systems provides the following fixes and improvements.
- A fix to the statutory maternity payments calculator that affects some employees where they are paid monthly, their maternity leave spans over two benefit years and the higher element of 90% is due to be paid.
- A fix to the P11D carbon dioxide emissions calculator.
- An error message will be shown when an employer creates a P11D for an employee who does not appear on the employer database.
- Updates the tax years shown on the P38(S) error message.
- Updates the introductory ‘further help’ on what information to enter while using the calculator for ordinary statutory paternity pay for adoption.
New users can download the latest version, 4.1.2.20393, while the update will be available automatically for existing users. Help with persistent problems can be obtained from HMRC’s online services helpdesk.
