It would be fair to say that many in the tax profession greeted the BBC Panorama report Tax Lies and  Videotape shown on 16 September with dismay. The following is a selection of what some who work in tax on both sides of the fence had to say.

What am I to do?

Yesterday I presented another lecture on the Finance Act 2013. Pity the undercover reporter in the front row secret camera running looking for a scoop writes Rebecca Benneyworth.

What he got was three and a half hours of updates on above the line...
