VAT flat rate

HMRC has updated VAT Notice 733: flat rate scheme for small businesses . It cancels and replaces the May 2013 version. Details of the changes to the previous version are in paragraph 1.2.

 

ISAs

The ISA guidance notes have been revised to cover the rules to be applied from 6 April 2016 on flexible ISAs innovative finance ISAs and help-to-buy ISA reinstatements.

 

Trusts

The latest issue of HMRC’s Trusts and Estates Newsletter  contains articles on the Budget changes and the personal savings allowance. It also advises that HMRC’s trusts and estates unit no longer uses the delivery service DX. All postal deliveries are handled by Royal Mail.

 

RPI

The retail prices index for March 2016 was 261.1.
