Multinationals to notify HMRC by 1 September.
Multinational groups with UK entities must notify HMRC by 1 September 2017 about their first country-by-country reports, including who will file the report and where. This is in line with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development requirements. More details are contained in HMRC’s new guidance.
The required format for country-by-country reporting will involve using an XML schema to ensure international consistency.
