Too much or too little pensions tax relief

Some employers are having problems giving tax relief on pension scheme members’ contributions, HMRC and the Pensions Regulator say in a joint article in this month’s Pension Schemes Newsletter.

Employers that are encounting difficulties should email: pensions.businessdelivery@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk with ‘Newsletter 105 – Pensions tax relief’ in the subject line. The departments will then work with them to correct the tax position.
