HMRC publishes Respect at Work report

Most employees in HMRC have dedication pride and commitment in the work they do and come to work to do a good job and support their colleagues. They expect and deserve to work in a safe tolerant and supportive environment. These are the findings of a report 2019 Respect at Work carried out for the department by Laura Whyte former human resources director at John Lewis Partnership. In 2018 HMRC asked her to carry out an independent review of what it is like to work in the department to help it to become the values-driven and inclusive employer it would like to be.
