Loan charge review

Devolution of APD to Wales

The government has rejected the House of Commons Welsh Affairs Committee’s recommendation to devolve air passenger duty (APD) to Wales claiming that it is not an issue of trust in the Welsh government. This is despite the committee’s arguments that devolution of the duty could promote economic growth.
