Rishi Sunak has written to Mel Stride chair of the Treasury Committee to confirm that he has asked the Office for Budget Responsibility to prepare an economic update and fiscal forecast to be published in mid to late November. In response Mr Stride has written to the chancellor to ask given the deferral of the next Budget to spring 2021 what arrangements have been put in place for the devolved administrations which need time before the end of the financial year to set their own budgets.
