On 13 March the CIOT and ATT London Branch organised a panel event on how politics can influence tax policy. We have brought together some points from the discussion into our article below. This was written by agreement on the Chatham House basis and our thanks go to the fascinating panel Dan Neidle of Tax Policy Associates Ray McCann currently leading the independent loan charge review and past president of the CIOT and Ellen Milner director of public policy at the CIOT.
