Does MTD cater for the disabled?

Just a thought...

When Making Tax Digital was proposed some external groups were invited to meet HMRC and one of these concentrated on accessibility issues for all. From the outset this group made it clear that for any system to work successfully HMRC had to work with external users. Indeed as a group while pointing out at every meeting that the proposed systems would not work for everyone we also offered our services as volunteers and users of the tax systems. In this way we could provide practical examples of any system failures.

Three years on concerns remain that HMRC does not seem to be working with frontline users and entrepreneurs including disabled people. And not only them what about the local window cleaner plumber or market trader? We are aware that many entrepreneurs record business incomings and outgoings by gathering receipts...
