From 1 April the national living wage will rise from £7.83 to £8.21.
The other changes are:
- the adult hourly rate for 21 to 24 year olds will increase from £7.38 to £7.70;
- the rate for 18 to 21 year olds will increase from £5.90 to £6.15;
- for those under 18 it increases from £4.20 to £4.35; and
- the apprentice rate increases from £3.70 to £3.90.
The accommodation offset increases to £7.55 a day.
