From 31 January 2023, companies and their agents must complete and submit enterprise investment scheme (EIS) and seed enterprise investment scheme (SEIS) compliance statements using HMRC’s new online service.
Advisers must provide a copy of the authorisation to act on behalf of the company - signed and dated within the last three months - with every statement. The service allows supporting documents to be provided with the statement, there is no longer a need to email these to HMRC.
