LinkedIn is very different to social media.

Over 300 000 UK based accountants have profiles on the business networking site LinkedIn.

Most do so in the hope of attracting new clients or building their professional profile. Some do so in the hope of finding a new job.

Profile

Whatever your objective there is no point doing anything on the platform until you have created a decent LinkedIn profile. This needs to be more than just the basics and to contain a distinctive headline.

Every element of your profile should be written so as to have a positive impact on whoever you want to reach and engage with on the platform.

Whether you’re hoping to secure a new role or new clients write your profile so that you stand out from others with comparable experience. And be sure to show that you’re an easy person to work with.
