Does tax news stop on Christmas Day, I wondered during that curious limbo after tidying up after pressies and before the arrival of G&T-thirsty relatives.
The short answer, following a quick visit to Google News: no.
I suspect, however, most people could have waited until tomorrow (at least) to learn that "a judge in Erie County has temporarily barred [New York] state from enforcing a new law requiring the collection of taxes on cigarettes sold on Indian reservations"... more
Taxation.co.uk will be back in action on 5 January.
