Today is Tax Freedom Day.
The (misnamed) anniversary hasn't been marked in the UK so early in the year since 1973.
These two facts will already be known by the majority of readers.
But were any of you aware that Tax Freedom Day is:
a. 61 years old,
b. the invention of US businessman Dallas Hostetler (who, confusingly, was from Florida), and
c. a trademarked phrase (owned by the Tax Foundation, a Washington DC-based research organisation)?
