Accountancy Age's Taking Stock recently commented on the cost of accountancy bodies' logos (although they no longer seem to be updating their blog with the stories they print).
No such extravagance, I suspect, at the Tax Disciplinary Board, the knuckle-rappers for the CIOT and the ATT.
Their annual report has a logo, of sorts, on the front cover: a rectangular box, filled in yellow, with TAXATION DISCIPLINARY BOARD in blue Arial 16 -point, bold and centred.
Makes you long for the earnest explanations of an overpaid design team, all dressed in designer black, about the emotional impact that their indecipherable logo is intended to have...
