I am sure that there are many of you who can’t wait to purchase your copy of the Finance Bill 2008 and the accompanying explanatory notes.
You’ve only been waiting to find out the correct price.
Following on from my previous entry on this subject – Good with money – I can now report that the Stationery Office prices (£22.00 and £85.50 respectively) are the correct ones.
Why did the Treasury get the pricing wrong?
Because they have quoted the 2007 prices!
My good deed for the day is now done. I have been thanked for bringing the error to light and I understand that HM Treasury will be amending their web page ASAP.
I can sleep easy tonight.
