We are always on the lookout for good articles or ideas for articles at our careers magazine, Taxation 2 - Taxation's younger and edgier sibling!
Some are all about tax and some are more general work-related articles.
I see there's a good idea doing the rounds today: 'making a good impression on your first day at the office'.
It appears that this year's winner of The Apprentice, Lee McQueen, was a no-show on the first day of his new job.
It is reported that poor Lee is on 'a sickie', laid up in bed with his girlfriend - and him having just returned from a week in Spain.
There might be some lack of punctuation in that previous sentence. He's laid up with a virus, not the girlfriend - well, so I understand.
Dodgy paella?
That's not the girlfriend's name by the way (Nicola Jellyman, since you ask). I was just wondering if there was something that didn't agree with him.
What's the bets that when he does eventually turn up at work there'll be something else that doesn't agree with him?

So, an article on the first day at work to be commissioned, and you'll be able to read it at Taxation.co.uk
...or why not subscribe to Taxation 2? It's FREE!!
