Complaints online
Asked about the number of complaints the Chancellor had received about the operation of online self assessment tax return form since 6 April 2003, Dawn Primarolo said that 19 complaints had been received.
With regard to encouraging greater use of online filing, Ms Primarolo mentioned the current advertising relating to online filing and added that the department's future plans in this respect would be 'shaped' by Lord Carter's review of online services. She said the report was expected in early spring 2006.
