HMRC update site information
HMRC have updated the stamp duty land tax content of their website.
The stated aim is to ‘offer clear and practical guidance to help you get SDLT right’.
The content covers:
- help working out how SDLT applies to land and property transactions;
- information about reliefs and exemptions and when they apply;
- getting the SDLT certificate immediately by submitting your return online;
- SDLT filing deadlines and payment methods.
