Reasons why medics are the 'chosen ones’

The article Worrying symptoms was most interesting … and when the whole subject was aired by HMRC we too wondered just why these healthcare professionals were being the ‘chosen ones’ and then we remembered.

Over the last few years we have indeed encountered medics who declined to declare fees for private medical notes or perhaps work on ‘after hours’ botoxing which is very profitable.

There may also have been neglect over ‘cash control’ by physiotherapists osteopaths and private dentists.

Clearly these are small fry when compared to the cash trade of the beauty industry for example but I have met a number of ‘beauty medics’ who boast about the number of women keen to pay cash for botox injections at £100 plus per jab!

So while we may not be talking millions it is an area that might be tightened up with...
