The future was the focus of two tax events during the Labour party conference

Tax was the subject of a couple of fringe meetings at this year’s Labour party conference in Brighton.

Reform held a lunchtime roundtable seminar A Digital Revolution: Improving Businesses’ Experiences of Dealing with Tax and the CIOT and the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) organised a discussion Options for Tax Reform: 2015 and Beyond both with Catherine McKinnell MP shadow exchequer secretary to the Treasury in attendance.

The latter event was also held at the Liberal Democrat and Conservative conferences although with differently formed panels.
