One of things that I always like to do once the judging of the Taxation Awards is out of the way is to share some reflections on the year’s entries and give my impression of the current state of our profession. It goes without saying that the awards process is completely confidential and that nothing I say here will refer to particular firms or individuals. Within those constraints however there is still a lot that can be said.
